In the House

Well we are in the new space. It is a little hard to imagine that just two weeks ago we were still working out of the old shop. Everyone put allot of effort into the move and I think we all agree that so far so good. It is a great space and as the weeks go by we will settle into our new digs and continue to add functionality. Yep, things are good at Espresso Parts and I'm proud to be apart of whats happening here.

Espresso Parts is on the Move

Man what a month!

After our return from Charlotte, we took on the task of moving espressoparts.com. This is some crazy stuff, and let me tell you none of it is easy.

Last October, the staff of espressparts.com met with our consultant Chris Tacy. Chris pointed out some obvious deficiencies within espressoparts.com. One of the most obvious to him as well as the staff was the fact that we were working in about 1800 SF. Add to this that this was on three floors in a renovated Victorian home, and you might be able to also visualize the potential for chaos.

Chris is a brlliant guy, and he said, that we needed a more functional space, and we could not have agreed more, so the task of finding a new home started last October. After months of looking and several false starts, we found the spot. Our criteria was that we needed allot of open space, and we were also dedicated to maintaining our location in Downtown Olympia.

We were fortunate to find a spot that is only three blocks from our old location and it seems to fit the bill perfectly. So over the last few weeks all of us at espressoparts.com have been moving. Quite the event, and I wish I could say it has been easy.

Moving is always hard, but when you are trying to operate your business and move at the same time, a whole new take on moving takes place.

More to come........
