2 is the loneliest number at an SCAA show it appears. Espresso Parts traveled very light this year. Terry admirably stayed home for his son's 16th birthday and missed the only SCAA I've known hom to. I thought there was little to no time to accomplish all when there were three of us, but two of us... yikes!
Anyway the USBC finalists are.... Nick Griffith, Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea
Pete Licata, PT’s Coffee Roasting Company
Chris Baca, Ritual Coffee Roasters
Heather Perry, Coffee Klatch
Kyle Glanville, Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea
Drew Catlin, Ritual Coffee Roasters
Congrats folks.
I was finally able to upload a few of
my photos. My highlight was playing with Greg Scace's 100-400mm usm L series Canon lens. If you make it to Baca's Specialty drink you can see what a lens like that can do. Thanks Greg! I'll be saving my pennies.
For true up to the minute SCAA blogging check the
Live SCAA Blog Site. They are doing a fantastic job. Apparently we leave tonight as soon as we pack up after the show. We'll miss on of my favorite events... The Roaster's Guild wrap up party but I get to see my dog tonight.
